United States Post Office & Courtrooms Renovations
Five Star Electric completed all the electrical work for this complex renovation and alterations of the existing eight-story 650,000 s. f. Cadman Plaza Post Office and Courtrooms project in Brooklyn, New York. The building, which was restored to its original condition and architecture, was completed while the Post Office continued its round-the-clock operations. Five Star installed all of the new electrical services, distribution, panels, light fixtures and various low voltage systems The construction manager was Bovis Lend Lease LMB, Inc. with architect R.M. Kimmel & Frances Halsband Architects. The project engineer was Flack & Kurtz Consulting Engineers. The owner is the U.S. General Services Administration.
