Safety First is GreenStar's trademarked safety program.

Adopted within our organization, Safety First represents our commitment to ensuring the safety of each project.

Our Safety program is a top-down initiative, with senior management including the Chief Operating Officer, the Safety Director and Vice Presidents and Project Superintendents, all involved in the process.

We recognize that managing construction risk on the job site is a collaborative process. Our Safety Director works with the project's safety director to put in place the appropriate controls to respond to each job site environment.

At GreenStar, we recognize that construction safety is more than a set of rules. It is the attitude that every one of our professionals brings to the job site. Part of our safety training program includes developing leadership skills that will ensure that our safety training is strictly implemented and seamlessly integrated into our service delivery.

Each GreenStar professional completes the following training, appropriate to their project requirements.

• 10 and 30 hour OSHA Construction Health and Safety Course
• HAZWOPER (Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response)
• Hazardous Waste/Universal Waste Training
• Confined Space Entry
• Suspended Scaffold Safety (NYC DOB Rule 9-03)
• Supported Scaffold Safety (Local Law 52)
• Respirator Fit Testing and Medical Clearance
• MTA & Amtrak Track Safety Training
• Scissor and Aerial Lift Training
• Other training as required by task or project.
